Atlanta’s most popular vegan restaurant needed a rebrand.

With over 3 locations, this beloved food chain has served customers since its opening in 2018. I decided to take on this challenge by revitalising the slutty vegan’s identity with a simple but bold style.

Inspiration

The motifs represent the unique way I envision veganism and what I think about when it comes to creating a vegan restaurant. Vegans lifestyle is a very healthy one, and restaurants that cater to these types of people often use symbols like plants. Plants represent an holistic lifestyle that is pure and healing to the body.

 

Redesigning the menu

The layout for the menu is filled with colors that complement each other. It entails a little bit of humor and gives off a plant-based aesthetic that matches the vibe of vegan culture. The colors on the menu are meant to be simple and eye catching for the viewer to read easily.

Brand Guidelines

The colors I chose were black and red because both colors symbolise boldness and strength. The spacing of the logo was very important because it showcased the proper usage of the clear space guidelines. The fonts were determined by the proper way to complement the bold and aggressiveness style of The Slutty Vegan.

Redesigned Website

I redesigned the website to make it more simple and straightforward. I felt that their design for their website had a lot going on visually and it wasn’t easy on the eyes.

 

In conclusion, this project taught me a lot about rebranding, and how making the smallest changes can really bring out a brand’s whole theme and concept. I had a lot of fun doing this, and it really helped me appreciate the time and effort designers put into creating or rebranding a company.
